Austin Sawmill Heritage Park is a great place to experience the local history along with the trails, water activities, relaxing scenery, and so much more. The Tourism Information Centre is open on Saturdays from 9 AM to 3 PM. While you’re at the park, visit The Kinmount Heritage Model Railroad & Museum.

Austin Sawmill Heritage Park also features the lovely Millenium Garden that banks the shores of Burt River. And, there’s a children’s playground! On Thursday evenings in July and August, enjoy the sounds of Music In The Park from 6:30 PM to dusk (no admission fee). 

For the adventurer in all of us, explore the beautiful Victoria Rail Trail connecting Lindsay to Haliburton. This is a multi-use, public trail uniquely linked to affiliated trails.

Do you love the sites and sounds of a great fair? The famous Kinmount Fair has been operating since 1872. The fun takes place on Labour Day Weekend. See you there!
